How to book

If you want to book for a group of children, please contact the Kings Summer team at enquiries@kingssummer.com.

If you want to place a booking for an individual, please use our pdf enrolment form. You can save it on your local computer, fill it in and then e-mail it as an attachment to enquiries@kingssummer.com.

Once we receive the completed enrolment form, the Summer team will be in touch to request a deposit. After we receive the deposit, we will send confirmation of the booking.

Unaccompanied minors: Please note unaccompanied minors will be charged a £50 supplement in UK Residential Centres, London (Beckenham), Bournemouth and Oxford for 'check-in and wait' service.

Economy Transfer Service: Students on Heathrow Economy transfers may have to wait 2–3 hours at the airport before check-in or after arrival. Students will be supervised by Kings Staff during this time. Groups and individuals may be on the same coach / mini bus.

Bath (Downside) Heathrow Economy is available every Wednesday from 4 July to 22 August. Flights must arrive between 10.00 – 18.00 and depart between 11.00 – 19.00.

Cheltenham: Heathrow Economy is available every Wednesday from 4 July to 8 August. Flights must arrive between 10.00 – 18.00 and depart between 11.00 – 19.00.

Bournemouth: Heathrow Economy is available every Sunday from 10 June to 12 August. Flights must arrive between 10.00 – 18.00 and depart between 11.00 – 19.00.

London (Beckenham): Heathrow Economy is available every Sunday from 24 June to 29 July. Flights must arrive between 11.00 – 18.00 and depart between 11.00 – 18.00.

How to pay

You can choose to pay in three different ways:

by credit/debit card or bank transfer through our partner Flywire (used to be Uni-Pay). Please note this is only available for direct individual bookings.
by bank transfer directly to a Kings account
by credit/debit card over the phone

When booking or applying, you can choose whether to pay full fees or only the deposit, unless you are booking less than four weeks before the course starts. In this case you would need to pay full fees.

Paying through Flywire

Flywire is an international payment and collection provider for overseas student fees that has been designed specifically for universities and language schools.

Flywire is available only for direct individual bookings.

When you submit a booking or application with Kings and you choose to use Flywire, your details will be received and reviewed by the registrars in each of our colleges.

If we have a place on the course you want, the registrar will accept your booking and you will receive an e-mail to request payment of either a deposit or full fees through Flywire. This e-mail will contain a link to go to the Flywire website where you will be able to either pay securely online via card or get details of the local Flywire bank account you will need to pay into.

The advantage of using Flywire rather than pay directly to a Kings bank account is that Flywire allows you to pay in your local currency with a £7 one-off charge and this, most of the time, means you are paying less than what you would pay for an international bank transfer.

Paying by bank transfer directly to a Kings account

Please send the payment to the bank of the Summer Centre you have selected (see below for bank details). Bank/wire transfers take 2 – 4 weeks to arrive. Full payment must be received four weeks before the date of arrival. Please include all bank charges in your payment and quote the student’s full name on the transfer. Please email a copy of the bank/wire transfer to Kings on acceptance of the offer and keep a copy of the transfer to take to the College with you.

Paying by card over the phone

You can use debit/credit cards to pay us directly but you will need to call the centre responsible for the summer location you want, to make the payment over the phone.

Using a debit card issued by a bank outside the UK or USA might result in you paying a credit card surcharge, depending on international banking agreements.

Insurance for USA-bound students

For students travelling to the USA to study with us, we have developed an excellent value insurance policy in conjunction with Guard.Me. We will arrange insurance for students via Guard.me at application stage automatically. This can be removed from the booking once proof of own insurance is shown.

Student insurance will cost US$45 per week.

Insurance for UK-bound students

We have developed an insurance policy which is especially designed for international students in conjunction with Endsleigh, a major UK insurance provider.

Student insurance will cost £6 per week.

The insurance policy gives a very high level of cover and will protect you against loss of possessions as well as accident or emergency.

To include insurance cover, complete the student insurance section when you're filling in the Enrolment Form.
